The Perspectiv crew are proud to announce Dachshund’s new release, with the Geneva based producer delivering us two fantastic tech-house anthems. With previous releases on Num, 60 Sec and Platzhirsch as well as collaborations with fellow Swiss producedrs Quenum and Lee Van Dowski, this is his first Perspectiv release. “Perception” is a trip into a blown mind. A devastating edit powered by crunching percussion and pounding bassline, Arabic synth melodies and samples of children playing give the production a mood that is both abstract and rejuvenational. “Holiday Now” is persuasive, percussive house. Motored by deep staccato synth and a crackling beat, sirens float throughout the mix amidst a prodded bass hook. Ripperton’s version of “Perception” dives in deep, focusing on the more ambient elements of the original and crafting a track of pulsed, warm pads and isolated, chopping percussion. This remix will only be released digitally. |
